Thunderstorm advisory up over Metro Manila, 8 Luzon areas

Metro Manila and eight provinces in Luzon are expected to experience moderate to heavy rains with lightning and strong winds Friday morning.

In a thunderstorm advisory issued at 10:32 a.m., state weather bureau PAGASA said the following areas will experience bad weather within the next two hours:

• Metro Manila,
• Pampanga, 
• Tarlac, 
• Bulacan,  
• Cavite, 
• Batangas, 
• Rizal, 
• Laguna, and 
• Nueva Ecija.

Meanwhile, heavy to intense rains with lightning and strong winds are being experienced in Bataan and Zambales (Botolan, Cabangan, San Marcelino, Subic).

The weather condition may persist within two hours and affect nearby areas.

Affected residents are advised to take precautionary measures against flash floods and landslides.—AOL, GMA Integrated News
