Yellow rainfall warning up over Metro Manila, 4 other areas
State weather bureau PAGASA issued a yellow rainfall warning for Metro Manila and four other areas on Monday morning due to the effects of the Southwest Monsoon or Habagat.
The yellow rainfall warning, issued at 8 a.m., covers the following areas:
- Bataan
- Cavite
- Metro Manila
- Zambales (Botolan, Cabangan, San Felipe, San Marcelino, San Antonio, San Narciso, Olongapo, Subic, Castillejos)
- Batangas
With the yellow rainfall warning, residents are advised that flooding may occur in flood-prone areas.

In its heavy rainfall outlook, PAGASA said 50 to 100 mm of rainfall may be expected in Metro Manila, Pangasinan, Zambales, Bataan, Cavite, Batangas, and Occidental Mindoro today.
