Orange rainfall warning up in Zambales, Bataan, Batangas, Cavite
State weather bureau PAGASA issued an orange rainfall warning for Zambales, Bataan, Batangas, and Cavite on Thursday at 11 a.m.
Aside from threatening floods, an orange rainfall warning means 15 to 30 millimeters of rain are expected over the affected areas and may persist in the next two hours.
Meanwhile, a yellow rainfall warning was raised for Tarlac, Pampanga, Bulacan, Metro Manila, Rizal, Laguna, and Quezon.
A yellow rainfall warning means flooding is threatening, particularly in the flood-prone areas of the said cities and provinces. Residents in the said areas may also experience 7.5 to 15 millimeters of rain that could continue for the next three hours, according to PAGASA.
“Meanwhile, light to moderate with occasional heavy rains affecting Nueva Ecija, which may persist within 3 hours,” PAGASA said.
"The public and the Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Offices concerned are advised to MONITOR the weather condition and watch for the next warning to be issued at 2:00 PM today," added PAGASA. —VAL, GMA Integrated News
