Thunderstorm advisory up over Metro Manila, Zambales, Bulacan

Metro Manila and two areas in Luzon are expected to experience moderate to heavy rains with lightning and strong winds Tuesday afternoon.

In a thunderstorm advisory issued at 1:43 p.m., state weather bureau PAGASA said Metro Manila, Zambales, and Bulacan will experience bad weather within the next two hours.

Meanwhile, the following areas are experiencing moderate to heavy rains with lightning and strong winds:

• Nueva Ecija (Carranglan, Pantabangan), 
• Batangas (Nasugbu), 
• Cavite (Alfonso), 
• Laguna (Luisiana, Magdalena, Majayjay, Liliw, San Pablo, Nagcarlan, Rizal),
• Quezon (Dolores, Tiaong, Candelaria, Sariaya, Calauag, Guinayangan, Tagkawayan), and 
• Rizal (Antipolo, Rodriguez).

The weather condition may persist within two hours and affect nearby areas.

Affected residents are advised to take precautionary measures against possible flash floods and landslides.—AOL, GMA Integrated News
