Habagat to bring scattered rains over Southern Luzon, Visayas, Mindanao
The Southwest Monsoon or Habagat will bring cloudy skies with scattered rains over Southern Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao on Friday, PAGASA reported.
Metro Manila, Visayas, MIMAROPA, Bicol Region, CALABARZON, Central Luzon, Zamboanga Peninsula, BARMM, Northern Mindanao, Caraga, and Pangasinan will have cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms due to the Southwest Monsoon with the possibility that flash floods or landslides will occur due to moderate to at times heavy rains.
The rest of Mindanao will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the Southwest Monsoon with flash floods or landslides possibly occurring during severe thunderstorms.
The rest of Luzon will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to localized thunderstorms as flash floods or landslides may occur during severe thunderstorms.
The wind speed forecast for Northern Luzon is moderate and moving in the southeast to east direction while coastal waters will be moderate.
The rest of the country will experience light to moderate wind speed moving in the south to southwest direction while coastal waters will be slight to moderate.
