LPA to bring clouds, rains over most parts of Luzon

Most parts of Luzon will experience cloudy skies and rains in the next 24 hours because of the low pressure area, which currently has a small chance of developing into a tropical cyclone.

At 3 p.m. Tuesday, the LPA was seen over the coastal waters of Mercedes, Camarines Norte.

According to PAGASA's weather forecast at 4 p.m., the LPA will cause cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms over Metro Manila, the Ilocos Region, the Cordillera Administrative Region, Cagayan Valley, Central Luzon, CALABARZON, Camarines Norte, and Camarines Sur.

The Southwest Monsoon (Habagat) will bring cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms over Visayas, MIMAROPA, Zamboanga Peninsula, Northern Mindanao, BARMM, SOCCSKSARGEN, and the rest of the Bicol Region, and partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms over the rest of Mindanao.

Flash floods or landslides may occur due to these weather systems.

Meanwhile, Northern Luzon and the western sections of Central and Southern Luzon will have moderate winds with moderate waters.

The rest of the country will experience light to moderate winds with light to moderate coastal waters.

Sunrise in Metro Manila will be at 5:44 a.m. on Wednesday. —Jiselle Anne Casucian/VBL, GMA Integrated News
