Mirasol exits PAR


Mirasol now outside Tropical Depression Mirasol has exited the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) as of 8 a.m.

Tropical Depression Mirasol has exited the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) as of 8 a.m.

According to an advisory from PAGASA, Mirasol is now 355 kilometers west of Calayan, Cagayan with maximum sustained winds of 55 kph and gustiness of up to 70 kph.

The state weather bureau, meanwhile, continues to monitor Tropical Depression Nando inside the PAR.

Nando is currently located 1,350 kilometers east of Central Luzon.

It has maximum sustained winds of 55 kph and gustiness of up to 70 kph.

In an earlier advisory, PAGASA raised Signal No.1 in 7 areas:

  • Batanes
  • Babuyan Islands
  • the western portion of mainland Cagayan (Santo Niño, Camalaniugan, Pamplona, Rizal, Claveria, Lasam, Aparri, Ballesteros, Abulug, Allacapan, Sanchez-Mira, Santa Praxedes)
  • Apayao
  • the northern portion of Abra (Pidigan, San Juan, Tayum, Langiden, Lagangilang, Danglas, La Paz, Licuan-Baay, Tineg, Malibcong, Peñarrubia, San Isidro, San Quintin, Dolores, Lagayan, Bangued, Bucay, Lacub, Sallapadan)
  • Ilocos Norte
  • the northern portion of Ilocos Sur (Sinait, Cabugao, San Juan, Magsingal, Santo Domingo, Bantay, San Vicente, San Ildefonso, Santa Catalina, City of Vigan, Caoayan, Santa, Nagbukel, Narvacan)
