Nando now a super typhoon - PAGASA

Nando has now been classified as a super typhoon, state meteorologists said Sunday morning. 

"As of 8:00 AM today, 21 September 2025, Typhoon "NANDO" (international name "RAGASA") has intensified into a Super Typhoon as it remains inside the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR)," PAGASA said in its advisory.

What is a super typhoon?

The state weather bureau added that Tropical Cyclone Neoguri has exited the monitoring domain for Tropical Cyclone Formation.
