Thunderstorm advisory up over Metro Manila, 3 Luzon areas

Metro Manila and three provinces in Luzon are expected to experience moderate to heavy rains with lightning and strong winds Monday. 

In a thunderstorm advisory issued at 10:27 a.m., state weather bureau PAGASA said the following areas will experience bad weather within the next two hours: 

• Manila,
• Rizal,
• Bulacan, and
• Laguna.

Meanwhile, General Nakar, Agdangan, Unisan, and Padre Burgos in Quezon and Taysan in Batangas are currently experiencing moderate to heavy rains with lightning and strong winds. 

It may persist within two hours and affect nearby areas.

Affected residents are advised to take precautionary measures against flash floods and landslides.—AOL, GMA Integrated News
