Easterlies to bring clouds, scattered rains over some areas

The easterlies are affecting the eastern part of the country on Sunday, and will bring clouds and rains over some areas, PAGASA said in its public weather forecast.

Aurora and Quezon will have cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms due to the easterlies. Flash floods or landslides may possibly occur due to moderate to at times heavy rains.

Metro Manila, Visayas, the rest of Luzon, Caraga, and Davao Region may expect partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms also due to the easterlies. During severe thunderstorms, flash floods or landslides may possibly occur.

Meanwhile, the rest of Mindanao may experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to localized thunderstorms. Severe thunderstorms may result in flash floods or landslides.

Coastal waters will be slight to moderate throughout the country.
