Palawan, Visayas, Mindanao to experience cloudy skies, rains due to ITCZ

The Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) will bring cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms over Palawan, Visayas, and Mindanao, according to the state weather bureau PAGASA's 24-hour weather forecast issued Saturday afternoon.

The same weather conditions will occur in the Batanes and Babuyan Islands because of the shear line.

Aurora and Quezon will also see cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms due to the easterlies, which will bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms over the rest of Luzon.

Moderate to strong winds and moderate to rough coastal waters are expected in the northern and western sections of Northern Luzon.

For the rest of the Philippines, winds will be light to moderate along with slight to moderate coastal waters.

Sunrise in Metro Manila will be at 5:50 a.m. on Sunday. —VBL, GMA Integrated News
