Rainy Undas 2025 expected over some Luzon areas —PAGASA

Moderate to heavy rains may be experienced over some areas in Luzon during the observance of All Saints’ Day and All Souls’ Day on Saturday and Sunday, state weather bureau PAGASA said Wednesday.

During a virtual climate forum, PAGASA weather specialist Leanne Marie Loreto said moderate to at times heavy rains are expected over Palawan as a possible low pressure area (LPA) may cross the West Philippine Sea. 

Moderate to heavy rains are possible over Batanes due to the Northeast Monsoon or Amihan.

The same weather condition may also be experienced over Cagayan, Isabela, and Aurora due to the shear line, according to the weather specialist.

Loreto said the intertropical convergence zone (ITCZ), potential LPA, and shear line are expected to bring significant rainfall within the next three days. —AOL, GMA Integrated News
