LPA outside PAR has medium chance of becoming storm - PAGASA

A Low Pressure Area being observed outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility has a medium chance of becoming a storm, state meteorologists said Friday morning.

"As of 2:00 AM today, 31 October 2025, a Low Pressure Area (LPA 10i) is being monitored OUTSIDE the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) and has a MEDIUM chance to develop into a tropical depression within the next 24 hours," PAGASA said in its advisory issued at 4 a.m.

The LPA is estimated to be 1,710 kilometers east of Southeastern Mindanao.
