Storm surge likely in over 30 Visayas, Mindanao areas —PAGASA
State weather bureau PAGASA warned Monday of storm surges of more than three meters in height in parts of Visayas and Mindanao due to Severe Tropical Storm Tino (international name: Kalmaegi).
In a storm surge warning issued at 8 a.m., PAGASA said a high risk of life-threatening storm surge may occur in the next 48 hours.
It added there is a possibility of inundation from rising sea water along with high waves in the low-lying coastal communities in the provinces/municipalities of:

Affected residents are advised to stay away from the coast or beach, cancel all marine activities, and move to higher grounds away from the coast and storm surge-prone areas.
