Uwan weakens into LPA
Tropical Cyclone Uwan (international name Fung-wong) has weakened into a low pressure area (LPA) inside the Philippine area of responsibility (PAR), according to state weather bureau PAGASA on Thursday.
“As of 8:00 a.m. today, 13 November 2025, ‘Uwan’ (international name ‘Fung-wong’) has weakened into a low pressure area and is still being monitored inside the PAR,” PAGASA said.
According to PAGASA’s 11 a.m. cyclone bulletin, Uwan is expected to dissipate within the next 24 hours.
The LPA was last spotted 490 kilometers north northeast of Itbayat, Batanes.
No tropical wind signals are raised over any part if the country, but the northeast monsoon may cause gusty conditions reaching strong to gale-force strength over Batanes and Babuyan Islands.
According to the Office of Civil Defense (OCD) said on Wednesday, the reported death toll from Uwan is 27.

Ifugao – 9
Benguet – 4
Nueva Vizcaya – 3
Mountain Province – 3
Kalinga – 3
Catanduanes – 1
Capiz – 1
Samar – 1
Sulu – 1
Unknown province - 1
