ITCZ to bring cloudy skies, rains over Palawan, Visayas, Mindanao
The Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) will bring cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms over Palawan, Visayas, and Mindanao on Friday, PAGASA reported.
PAGASA also said flash floods or landslides may occur in the said regions due to moderate to at times heavy rains.
Meanwhile, Batanes and Babuyan Islands will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains due to the northeast monsoon but this will have no significant impact.
Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to localized thunderstorms with possible flash floods or landslides occurring during severe thunderstorms.
The wind speed in Northern Luzon will be moderate to strong and moving northeastward while coastal waters will be moderate to rough.
The rest of Luzon will experience light to moderate wins speed moving northeastward with slight to moderate coastal waters.
Visayas and Mindanao will experience light to moderate wind speed moving in the northeast to north direction with slight to moderate coastal waters.
