4 weather systems to bring rain, cloudy skies over several parts of PH
Cloudy skies and rain are expected to persist in several parts of the country due to four weather systems, PAGASA said Sunday afternoon.
Based on the state weather bureau’s 4 p.m. weather forecast, the Intertropical Convergence Zone will affect the weather conditions of Visayas, Mindanao, and Palawan.
Cloudy skies with scattered rains and isolated thunderstorms will be observed in Cagayan and Isabela due to the shear line.
Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the easterlies.
PAGASA warned that these weather conditions may trigger flash floods or landslides.
Meanwhile, the Northwest Monsoon (Amihan) will bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains over the Ilocos Region, the Cordillera Administrative Region, and the rest of Cagayan Valley, with no significant impact.
State meteorologists also said winds will be moderate to strong, while coastal waters will be in the northern and western sections of Luzon.
The rest of the country will see light to moderate wind conditions and slight to moderate coastal water conditions.
Sunrise in Metro Manila will be at 5:58 a.m. on Monday. — Mariel Celine Serquiña/RF, GMA Integrated News
