PAGASA: 3 weather systems to bring cloudy skies, scattered rains
Three prevailing weather systems will bring cloudy skies and scattered rains to different parts of the country on Monday, the state weather bureau said.
In its 4 a.m. public weather forecast, PAGASA said the Intertropical Convergence Zone is affecting Palawan and Mindanao, while the Northeast Monsoon is affecting Northern Luzon. The easterlies are affecting the rest of the country.
PAGASA added that “no low pressure areas (LPA) are being monitored for tropical cyclone formation” so far.
Cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms will be experienced in Mindanao and Palawan on Monday as a result of the ITCZ.
The shearline will bring cloudy skies with scattered rains and isolated thunderstorms in Cagayan and Isabela.
Meanwhile, Eastern Visayas, Bicol Region, Aurora, and Quezon will have cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms as a result of the easterlies.
Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms due to the easterlies as well.
Ilocos Region, Cordillera Administrative Region, and the rest of Cagayan Valley will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains due to the Northeast Monsoon.
The northern and western sections of Luzon will experience moderate to strong winds and moderate to rough coastal water conditions.
