ITCZ, shear line, easterlies to bring cloudy skies, rains over parts of PH
The Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ), shear line, and the easterlies will bring cloudy skies with scattered rain showers over parts of the country on Tuesday, PAGASA reported.
BARMM and SOCCSKSARGEN will have cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms due to the ITCZ with the possibility that flash floods or landslides will occur due to moderate to at times heavy rains.
Cagayan, Isabela, and Apayao will have cloudy skies with scattered rains and isolated thunderstorms due to the shear line with flash floods or landslides possibly affecting these areas due to moderate to at times heavy rains.
Bicol Region, Aurora, and Quezon will have cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms due to the easterlies with flash floods or landslides possibly occurring due to moderate to at times heavy rains.
Batanes and Ilocos Norte will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains due to the northeast monsoon but this will have no significant impact.
The rest of Mindanao will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the ITCZ with the possibility that flash floods or landslides will occur during severe thunderstorms.
Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the easterlies with flash floods or landslides possibly occurring during severe thunderstorms.
The northern and western sections of Northern Luzon will experience moderate to strong wind speed moving northeastward while coastal waters will be moderate to rough.
Mindanao will experience light to moderate wind speed moving in the northeast to north direction with slight to moderate coastal waters.
The rest of the country will experience light to moderate wind speed moving in the east to northeast direction with slight to moderate coastal waters.
