Rain expected in parts of PH due to 3 weather systems — PAGASA
Several parts of the country are expected to experience cloudy skies and rain due to three weather systems, PAGASA said Tuesday afternoon.
The Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) will affect the weather conditions of BARMM, SOCCSKSARGEN, and the Davao Region.
The ITCZ will also bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms throughout the rest of Mindanao.
Cloudy skies with scattered rains and isolated thunderstorms will persist in Cagayan, Isabela, and Apayao due to the shear line.
Eastern Visayas, Aurora, Quezon, Camarines Norte, Surigao del Norte, Surigao del Sur, and Dinagat Island will see cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms due to the easterlies.
The easterlies will also affect the weather conditions of Metro Manila and the rest of the country.
PAGASA warned that these weather systems may trigger flash floods and landslides.
Meanwhile, cloudy skies with light rains will be observed in Batanes and Ilocos Norte due to the Northeast Monsoon (Amihan) but this will have no significant impact.
State meteorologists said the rest of Luzon will experience moderate to strong wind conditions and moderate to rough coastal water conditions.
Winds will be light to moderate, while coastal waters will be slight to moderate throughout the rest of the country.
Sunrise in Metro Manila will be at 5:59 a.m. on Wednesday. — BAP, GMA Integrated News
