Metro Manila, Mindanao to have cloudy skies, isolated rains due to easterlies, ITCZ
Several weather systems will affect parts of the country on Wednesday, bringing cloudy skies and isolated rainshowers, PAGASA said.
In its 4 a.m. bulletin, the weather bureau also said no low pressure areas are being monitored for tropical cyclone formation.
Davao Region, SOCCSKSARGEN, Basilan, Sulu, and Tawi-Tawi will experience cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms due to the Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ).
Cagayan, Isabela, Apayao, Kalinga, Mountain Province, and Ifugao will also have cloudy skies with scattered rains and isolated thunderstorms as a result of the Shear Line.
Easterlies will bring cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms to Eastern Visayas, Caraga, Aurora, Quezon, and Camarines Norte.
Meanwhile, Batanes and Ilocos Norte will see cloudy skies with rains brought about by the Northeast Monsoon.
The rest of Mindanao will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms due to the ITCZ.
