3 weather systems to bring cloudy skies, rains over PH
PAGASA warned of rains across the country on Wednesday as multiple weather systems will affect parts of Luzon and Mindanao.
According to PAGASA’s daily weather forecast on Wednesday afternoon, the shear line will bring cloudy skies with scattered rains and isolated thunderstorms over Cagayan, Isabela, Apayao, Kalinga, Mountain Province, and Ifugao.
The easterlies will cause cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms over Eastern Visayas, Caraga, Aurora, Quezon, and Camarines Norte.
Cloudy skies with rains may be expected over Batanes and Ilocos Norte, while the rest of Cagayan Valley, the rest of Cordillera Administrative Region, and the rest of Ilocos Region will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains due to the Northeast Monsoon.
The Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) is predicted to cause cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms over Davao Region, SOCCSKSARGEN, Basilan, Sulu, and Tawi-Tawi, and partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms over the rest of Mindanao.
Metro Manila and the rest of the country will be having partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms caused by the easterlies.
Possible flash floods or landslides may be expected in some areas as a result of said weather conditions.
Meanwhile, moderate to strong winds with moderate to rough waters may be expected over Northern Luzon.
The rest of the country will be having light to moderate winds with slight to moderate coastal waters.
