Rainy Thursday seen in parts of Northern Luzon—PAGASA
The Northeast Monsoon (Amihan) will bring cloudy skies and rain to several areas in Northern Luzon over the next 24 hours, the state weather bureau said Wednesday afternoon.
In its 4 p.m. forecast, PAGASA said the Cordillera Administrative Region, the rest of Cagayan Valley, and the Ilocos Region will be affected.
The bureau clarified, however, that the weather conditions brought by the Amihan are not expected to have a significant impact.
Meanwhile, the provinces of Cagayan, Isabela, Quirino, Aurora, and Quezon will have cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and isolated thunderstorms due to the shear line.
Metro Manila and the rest of the country will experience partly cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms from localized thunderstorms.
PAGASA warned that these conditions may trigger flash floods or landslides.
State meteorologists also said winds will be moderate to strong and coastal waters moderate to rough in Luzon.
The Visayas and Mindanao regions will have light to moderate winds with slight to moderate coastal waters.
Sunrise in Metro Manila on Thursday will be at 6:11 a.m.—MCG, GMA Integrated News
