Shear line, amihan to bring cloudy skies, rains over parts of Luzon
The Shear Line will be affecting the eastern sections of Northern and Central Luzon while the Northeast Monsoon (amihan) will affect the rest of Northern Luzon on Thursday, PAGASA reported.
Cagayan, Isabela, Quirino, Nueva Vizcaya, Kalinga, Mountain Province, Ifugao, Aurora, and Quezon will have cloudy skies with scattered rains and isolated thunderstorms due to the Shear Line. Flash floods or landslides may occur in these areas due to moderate to at times heavy rains.

The rest of Ilocos Region and the rest of Cordillera Administrative Region will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains also due to the Northeast Monsoon but this will have no significant impact.
Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to localized thunderstorms with the possibility of flash floods or landslides occurring during severe thunderstorms.
The wind speed forecast for Northern Luzon is moderate to strong moving northeastward while coastal waters will be moderate to rough.
