3 weather systems to bring rain over Luzon, Visayas - PAGASA
Three weather systems are expected to affect the weather conditions of several areas in the country in the next 24 hours, the state weather said Thursday afternoon.
In its 4 p.m. weather forecast, PAGASA said cloudy skies with light rains will be observed over Cordillera Administrative Region, Cagayan, Isabela, Quirino, Nueva Vizcaya, and Aurora due to the Northeast Monsoon (Amihan).
The Amihan will also bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains over the Ilocos Region and Batanes.
PAGASA said these weather conditions will have no specific impact.
Cloudy skies with scattered rains and isolated thunderstorms will persist over Bicol Region, Rizal, Laguna, Quezon, Marinduque, Northern Samar, Eastern Samar, and Samar due to the shear line.
Metro Manila and the rest of the country will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to localized thunderstorms.
State meteorologists also said winds will be moderate to strong, while coastal waters will be moderate to rough in Luzon and the eastern section of Visayas.
Mindanao and the rest of Visayas will experience light to moderate wind conditions and slight to moderate coastal water conditions.
Sunrise in Metro Manila will be at 6:11 a.m. on Friday. —Mariel Celine Serquiña/RF, GMA Integrated News
