Shear line, amihan will bring rains over parts of Luzon, Visayas
The Shear Line will be affecting the eastern sections of Southern Luzon and Visayas while the Northeast Monsoon will continue to affect Northern and Central Luzon, according to PAGASA's Friday afternoon forecast.
Bicol Region, Eastern Visayas, Laguna, Quezon, Marinduque, and Romblon will have cloudy skies with scattered rains and isolated thunderstorms due to the Shear Line and that flash floods or landslides may occur due to moderate to at times heavy rains.
Cagayan Valley and Aurora will have cloudy skies with light rains due to the Northeast Monsoon but this will have no significant impact.
Metro Manila, Ilocos Region, Cordillera Administrative Region, and the rest of Central Luzon and CALABARZON will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains also due to the Northeast Monsoon but this will have no significant impact.
The rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the Easterlies with the possibility that flash floods or landslides may occur during severe thunderstorms.
The wind speed forecast for Northern Luzon and the eastern sections of Central Luzon, Southern Luzon, and Visayas is moderate to strong moving northeastward while coastal waters will be moderate to rough.
The rest of the country will experience light to moderate wind speed moving northeastward while coastal waters will remain slight to moderate. — BAP, GMA Integrated News
