Rains possible over parts of Luzon, Eastern Visayas due to shear line

The shear line will bring cloudy skies with scattered rains and isolated thunderstorms over the Bicol Region, Eastern Visayas, Marinduque, and Romblon, according to the state weather bureau PAGASA's early Saturday morning forecast.

The Northeast Monsoon (Amihan) will affect Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon, while the rest of the country will see partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms because of the easterlies.

Winds will be moderate to strong, and coastal waters will be moderate to rough in Northern Luzon. The eastern sections of Central Luzon, Southern Luzon, and Visayas will observe moderate winds and coastal water conditions.

The rest of the country will experience light to moderate winds and slight to moderate coastal waters.

Sunrise in Metro Manila will be at 6:12 a.m. Sunset is expected at 5:29 p.m. — VBL, GMA Integrated News
