Shear line, Amihan to bring rains in parts of PH
Rain may be expected in some areas due to the effects of the shear line and the Northeast Monsoon in the country.
According to PAGASA’s daily weather forecast on Saturday, the shear line may bring cloudy skies with scattered rains and isolated thunderstorms over Bicol Region, Quezon, Laguna, Batangas, Oriental Mindoro, Occidental Mindoro, Marinduque, and Romblon.
Visayas, Mindanao, and Palawan will be having partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the easterlies.
The Northeast Monsoon may also cause cloudy skies with light rains over Metro Manila, the rest of CALABARZON, and Aurora, and partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains over the rest of Luzon.
Meanwhile, the northern and western sections of Northern Luzon will be having moderate to strong winds with moderate to rough waters.
PAGASA said that there was no Low Pressure Area (LPA) being monitored for Tropical Cyclone Formation.
Meanwhile, moderate winds with moderate seas may be felt over the rest of Luzon and the eastern section of Visayas, as the rest of the country observes light to moderate winds with slight to moderate coastal waters.
Sunrise in Metro Manila will be at 6:12 a.m. on Sunday. —VAL, GMA Integrated News
