LPA may be formed, bring rains on Christmas week —PAGASA

A low pressure area (LPA) may possibly be formed and affect the country on Christmas week, PAGASA said.

In its threat forecast for December 19 to 25, PAGASA said an LPA may be formed east of Mindanao, according to a report on Unang Balita on Monday.

The LPA will move slowly and may possibly bring rains over Caraga, Eastern Visayas, or the Bicol Region.

On Monday, the Northeast Monsoon (Amihan) and easterlies are bringing rains in some areas, PAGASA said. —KG, GMA Integrated News
