Rainy Friday in parts of PH due to 3 weather systems —PAGASA
Three weather systems are expected to bring cloudy skies and rain in several areas in the country, PAGASA said Thursday afternoon.
In its 4 p.m. weather forecast, the state weather bureau said Caraga, Davao Region, and Palawan will experience cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms due to the Intertropical Convergence Zone.
The same weather conditions will persist in the Bicol Region, Quezon, Northern Samar, and Eastern Samar due to the easterlies.
Cloudy skies with rain will be observed in Cagayan Valley, Apayao, Kalinga, Mountain Province, Ifugao, and Aurora due to the Northeast Monsoon (Amihan).
Metro Manila and the rest of the country will see partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the easterlies.
PAGASA warned that these weather conditions may trigger flash floods and landslides.
The Amihan will also bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains over Ilocos Region, the rest of Cordillera Administrative Region, and the rest of Central Luzon, with no specific impact.
State meteorologists also said winds will be moderate to strong, while coastal waters will be moderate to rough in extreme Northern Luzon and the eastern sections of Luzon and Visayas.
The rest of Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao will experience light to moderate wind conditions and slight to moderate coastal water conditions. —AOL, GMA Integrated News
