3 weather systems to bring rains over PH

Several weather systems will continue to bring rains across the country, according to PAGASA’s daily weather forecast on Saturday.

Batanes will be having cloudy skies with rains caused by the Northeast Monsoon, while partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms will be felt over SOCCSKSARGEN, BARMM, Sulu, and Davao Occidental due to the Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ).

The easterlies, meanwhile, will cause cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms over the Bicol Region, Eastern Visayas, Cagayan, Isabela, Aurora, Quezon, Oriental Mindoro, Marinduque, Romblon, Palawan, Aklan, Capiz, Dinagat Islands, Surigao del Norte, Surigao del Sur, and Davao Oriental, and partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms over the rest of the country.

Possible flash floods and landslides will occur in some areas as a result of said weather conditions.

Moderate to strong winds with moderate to rough waters will be observed over the northern and eastern sections of Luzon.

The rest of the country will be having light to moderate winds with slight to moderate coastal waters.

Sunrise in Metro Manila will be at 6:16 a.m. on Sunday.—VAL, GMA Integrated News
