3 weather systems to bring rains over parts of PH —PAGASA
Several areas of the country are expected to experience cloudy skies and rains over the next 24 hours due to three weather systems, PAGASA said Monday afternoon.
In its 4 p.m. weather forecast, the state weather bureau said Aurora and Quezon will experience cloudy skies with scattered rains and isolated thunderstorms due to the shear line.
Cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms will be observed over Visayas, the Bicol Region, the Dinagat Islands, Surigao del Norte, Surigao del Sur, and Davao Oriental due to the easterlies.
Cloudy skies with rain will persist over the Cagayan Valley due to the Northeast Monsoon (Amihan).
The easterlies will also bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms throughout the rest of the country.
PAGASA warned that these weather conditions may trigger flash floods or landslides.
Metro Manila, the Cordillera Administrative Region, the Ilocos Region, and the rest of Central Luzon will experience cloudy skies with light rains also due to the Amihan, with no significant impact.
State meteorologists also said Northern Luzon will experience strong wind conditions and rough coastal water conditions.
Winds will be moderate to strong, while coastal waters will be moderate to rough in Central Luzon and the eastern section of Southern Luzon.
The rest of the country will experience light to moderate wind conditions and slight to moderate coastal water conditions.
Sunrise in Metro Manila will be at 6:17 a.m. on Tuesday. —Mariel Celine Serquiña/AOL, GMA Integrated News
