Amihan, easterlies to bring cloudy skies, rains over PH on Tuesday
Cloudy skies and rains are expected in parts of the country on Tuesday due to the effects of the Northeast Monsoon and the easterlies, the state weather bureau said.
In its 4 a.m. daily weather forecast, PAGASA said the Northeast Monsoon is affecting Northern and Central Luzon while the easterlies are affecting the rest of the country.
The Northeast Monsoon is expected to bring cloudy skies with rains over Cagayan, Isabela, and Aurora, and partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains over Ilocos Region, Cordillera Administrative Region, the rest of Cagayan Valley, and the rest of Central Luzon.
Meanwhile, Bicol Region, Eastern Visayas, Quezon, Dinagat Islands, Surigao del Norte, and Surigao del Sur will experience cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms as a result of the easterlies.
The easterlies will also bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms over Metro Manila and the rest of the country.
The state weather bureau warned of possible flash floods or landslides due to moderate to at times heavy rains in some areas.
Northern Luzon will have strong winds and rough coastal water conditions, while Central Luzon and the eastern section of Southern Luzon will experience moderate to strong winds and moderate to rough coastal water conditions.
The rest of the country will experience light to moderate winds and slight to moderate coastal water conditions.
