Metro Manila, Luzon to have cloudy skies, light rains on Christmas Eve


The Northeast Monsoon and easterlies will bring cloudy skies with light rains in parts of the country on Christmas Eve, weather bureau PAGASA said.

It added that as of 2 a.m. Wednesday, no low pressure areas are being monitored for tropical cyclone formation.

Bicol Region and Quezon will experience cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms brought about by the easterlies.

In Cagayan, Isabela, and Aurora, the Northeast Monsoon will bring cloudy skies with light rains.

Ilocos Region, Cordillera Administrative Region, the rest of Cagayan Valley, and the rest of Central Luzon will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains due to the Northeast Monsoon.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms as a result of the easterlies.
