Rains expected in parts of PH in last weekend of 2025

Rains will still be experienced in some parts of the country during the last weekend of the year, according to a weather report on Friday on Unang Balita.

Based on Metro Weather's rainfall forecast, light to moderate rains are possible Friday morning in the extreme northern zone. This includes the southern zone as well as Mindanao.

In the afternoon or evening, rains are possible in some parts of the northern zone and parts of Visayas.

On Saturday, rain is also possible in some areas of the extreme northern zone and Palawan.

Some parts of the southern zone of eastern Visayas, Caraga, and the Davao region, meanwhile, may experience rain by Sunday morning.

The chance of rain in Metro Manila over the weekend is "low."

According to PAGASA, amihan or Northeast Monsoon is affecting Luzon today while easterlies is affecting the rest of our country. It added that There is no typhoon or low pressure area being monitored inside or outside the Philippine Air of Responsibility. —VAL, GMA Integrated News
