Northeast Monsoon to bring rains over parts of PH —PAGASA

The Northeast Monsoon will continue to bring rains over various parts of the Philippines, PAGASA said in its weather forecast on Friday.

The easterlies will also bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms over Visayas, Mindanao, and Palawan, the weather bureau added.

Batanes and Babuyan Islands will experience cloudy skies with rains, while mainland Cagayan, Isabela and Apayao will have light rains due to the Northeast Monsoon.

The rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains also caused by the Northeast Monsoon.

Possible flash floods or landslides may occur in some areas as a result of the said weather conditions.

Meanwhile, strong to gale-force winds with rough to very rough seas may be felt over Northern Luzon.

Moderate to strong winds with moderate to rough seas will be observed over the rest of Luzon and the eastern section of Visayas, while the rest of the country will have light to moderate winds with slight to moderate coastal waters.

Sunrise in Metro Manila will be at 6:19 a.m. on Saturday. —Jiselle Anne C. Casucian/LDF, GMA Integrated News
