3 weather systems continue to bring rains over parts of PH – PAGASA

Several weather systems continue to bring rains over parts of the country, according to PAGASA’s daily weather forecast on Friday afternoon.

The shear line is causing cloudy skies with scattered rains and isolated thunderstorms over the Bicol Region, Western Visayas, MIMAROPA, Quezon, Laguna and Batangas.

The Northeast Monsoon will bring cloudy skies with rains over Metro Manila, Cordillera Administrative Region, Cagayan Valley, Central Luzon, and the rest of CALABARZON, and cloudy skies with light rains over the Ilocos Region.

The rest of the country will be having partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the easterlies.

Possible flash floods or landslides may occur in some areas as a result of heavy rains or severe thunderstorms.

Meanwhile, strong to gale-force winds with rough to very rough waters may be expected over Northern Luzon and eastern sections of Central and Southern Luzon.

The rest of Luzon and Visayas may observe moderate to strong winds with moderate to rough waters, while the rest of the country will be having light to moderate winds with slight to moderate seas.

Sunrise in Metro Manila will be at 6:22 a.m. on Saturday. — BAP, GMA Integrated News
