Rains, cloudy skies expected across PH

Cloudy skies with scattered rains and isolated thunderstorms will occur in the Visayas, Catanduanes, Albay, Sorsogon, Masbate, and Palawan because of the shear line, according to PAGASA's early Saturday morning forecast.

In the Cordillera Administrative Region, Cagayan Valley, Aurora, Quezon, the rest of MIMAROPA, and the rest of the Bicol Region, the expected weather conditions are cloudy skies with rains due to the Northeast Monsoon (Amihan).

The Amihan will also bring cloudy skies with light rains over Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon.

The easterlies will cause cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms over Mindanao.

Landslides or flash floods might occur due to these weather systems.

Northern Luzon and the eastern sections of Central Luzon, Southern Luzon, and Visayas will have strong to gale winds and rough to very rough seas.

The rest of Luzon and Visayas will experience moderate to strong winds and moderate to rough coastal water conditions.

Mindanao will have light to moderate winds and slight to moderate seas.
