Several weather systems to bring rains over PH

Multiple weather systems will continue to bring rains over several parts of the country, according to PAGASA’s daily weather forecast on Saturday.

Cloudy skies with scattered rains and isolated thunderstorms are expected in Western Visayas, the rest of the Bicol Region, Northern Samar, Samar, Eastern Samar, Biliran, and Romblon due to the shear line.

The easterlies, meanwhile, will cause cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms over Mindanao, Palawan, and the rest of Visayas.

Metro Manila, Occidental Mindoro, the rest of Central Luzon, the rest of CALABARZON, the Cordillera Administrative Region, Cagayan Valley, Aurora, Quezon, Marinduque, Oriental Mindoro, and Camarines Norte will have cloudy skies with rains due to the Northeast Monsoon.

It will also cause partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains over the Ilocos Region.

Possible flash floods or landslides may occur in some areas as a result of said weather conditions.

Meanwhile, strong to gale-force winds with rough to very rough waters may be felt over Northern Luzon and the eastern sections of Central Luzon, Southern Luzon, and Visayas.

The rest of Luzon and Visayas may observe moderate to strong winds with moderate to rough seas, while Mindanao will be having light to moderate winds with slight to moderate coastal waters.

Sunrise in Metro Manila will be at 6:22 a.m. on Sunday. —VAL, GMA Integrated News
