Cloudy skies, rains expected over parts of PH due to 4 weather systems
A shear line will affect the eastern section of Southern Luzon, the Northeast Monsoon (Amihan) will affect the rest of Luzon, while the easterlies will bring cloudy skies with rains over the rest of the country on Tuesday, PAGASA reported.
Bicol Region, Quezon, Oriental Mindoro, Marinduque, Romblon, and Northern Samar will have cloudy skies with scattered rains and isolated thunderstorms due to the shear line. Flash floods or landslides may occur in these areas due to moderate to heavy rains.
Zamboanga Peninsula, Basilan, Tawi-Tawi, and Palawan will have cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms due to the trough of a low pressure area (LPA). Moderate to at times heavy rains may possibly result in flash floods or landslides.
The rest of Visayas will have cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms due to the Easterlies with the possibility that flash floods or landslides will occur due to moderate to at times heavy rains.
The Cordillera Administrative Region, Cagayan Valley, and Aurora will have cloudy skies with light rains due to the Northeast Monsoon but this will have no significant impact.
Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains due to the Northeast Monsoon but this will also have no significant impact.
The rest of Mindanao will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the Easterlies with flash floods or landslides possibly occurring during severe thunderstorms.
Luzon and the eastern sections of Visayas and Mindanao will experience moderate to strong winds moving in the northeast to north direction with moderate to rough coastal waters.
The rest of the country will have light to moderate winds moving in the northeast to north direction while coastal waters will be slight to moderate.
