Shear Line, amihan, easterlies to bring cloudy skies, rains over parts of PH
The Shear Line affecting Southern Luzon, the Northeast Monsoon (amihan) will affect the rest of Luzon while the Easterlies will be affecting the rest of the country on Thursday, PAGASA reported.
Bicol Region, Quezon, Oriental Mindoro, Marinduque, Romblon, and Palawan will have cloudy skies with scattered rains and isolated thunderstorms due to the Shear Line. Flashfloods or landslides may occur in these areas due to moderate to heavy rains.
Cordillera Administrative Region, Cagayan Valley, and Aurora will have cloudy skies with light rains due to the Northeast Monsoon but this will have no significant impact.
Likewise with Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon that will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains.
The rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the Easterlies. Flash floods or landslides may occur in during severe thunderstorms.
The wind speed forecast for Luzon is moderate to strong moving Northeastward while coastal waters will be moderate to rough.
Visayas and Mindanao will experience light to moderate wind speed moving in the Northeast to North direction with slight to moderate coastal waters.
