Amihan, shear line to bring cloudy skies, rains over Luzon
The Northeast Monsoon (Amihan) and the shear line will bring cloudy skies and rains across Luzon, PAGASA said in its early Saturday morning forecast.
Cloudy skies with scattered rains and isolated thunderstorms will prevail in Cagayan, Isabela, Quirino, Aurora, Quezon, and Rizal because of the shear line.
The Amihan will cause cloudy skies with light rains over the Cordillera Administrative Region, the rest of Cagayan Valley, Nueva Ecija, and Bulacan, as well as partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains over Metro Manila, the Ilocos Region, and the rest of Central Luzon.
The easterlies will affect the weather conditions in the rest of the country.
Moderate to strong winds and moderate to rough coastal water conditions are expected in Luzon and the eastern section of Visayas.
The rest of the country will have light to moderate winds and slight to moderate seas.
Sunrise in Metro Manila will be at 6:24 a.m. Sunset is scheduled for 5:43 p.m. —VBL, GMA Integrated News
