3 weather systems continue to cause rains across PH

Several weather systems will continue to bring rains across the country, according to PAGASA’s daily weather forecast on Saturday.

Cagayan, Isabela, Quirino, Aurora, Quezon, Rizal, and Laguna will experience cloudy skies with scattered rains and isolated thunderstorms caused by the shear line, while the easterlies will bring cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms over Visayas, the Bicol Region, Marinduque, Romblon, Dinagat Islands, and Surigao del Norte.

The Northeast Monsoon will cause cloudy skies with light rains over Metro Manila, the Cordillera Administrative Region, the rest of Cagayan Valley, the rest of CALABARZON, Nueva Ecija, and Bulacan, and partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains over the Ilocos Region and the rest of Central Luzon.

The rest of the country will also have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms caused by the easterlies.

Flash floods or landslides may occur as a result of these weather conditions.

Meanwhile, moderate to strong winds with moderate to rough seas may be felt over Luzon and the eastern sections of Visayas and Mindanao.

The rest of the country will observe light to moderate winds with slight to moderate coastal waters.

Sunrise in Metro Manila will be at 6:24 a.m. on Sunday. —Jiselle Anne Casucian/VBL, GMA Integrated News
