Cloudy skies, rains on Tuesday due to 4 weather systems
Four weather systems – the shear line, Northeast Monsoon, Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) and the easterlies – will bring cloudy skies and rains to different parts of the country on Tuesday.
In its 4 a.m. daily weather forecast, PAGASA said the shear line is affecting the eastern section of Northern Luzon while the Northeast Monsoon is affecting the rest of Northern Luzon.
The ITCZ is affecting southern Mindanao while the easterlies is affecting Metro Manila and the rest of the country.
Cagayan, Isabela, and Aurora will experience cloudy skies with scattered rains and isolated thunderstorms as a result of the shear line, with the possibility of flash floods or landslides due to moderate to at times heavy rains.
Meanwhile, the ITCZ will bring cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms over the Davao Region, with possible flash floods or landslides due to moderate to at times heavy rains.
The Northeast Monsoon will cause cloudy skies with light rains over Cordillera Administrative Region and the rest of Cagayan Valley, and partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains over the Ilocos Region and the rest of Central Luzon.
Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms as a result of the easterlies, with possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.
Northern Luzon, the eastern section of Central Luzon, Southern Luzon, and Visayas, and the eastern section of Mindanao will experience moderate to strong winds and moderate to rough coastal water conditions.
The rest of the country will have light to moderate winds and slight to moderate coastal water conditions.
