PAGASA: 'High chance' LPA inside PAR will become tropical depression
The low pressure area (LPA) inside the Philippine Area of Responsibility has a "high chance" of developing into a tropical depression within the next 24 hours, PAGASA said.
As of 3 a.m. Wednesday, the LPA was estimated at 755 kilometers East of Davao City.
Meanwhile, the trough of the LPA will bring cloudy skies with scattered rains over Eastern Visayas, Davao Region, Caraga, Camiguin, Misamis Oriental, and Bukidnon.
Cagayan, Isabela, and Aurora will see cloudy skies with rains due to the Northeast Monsoon.
The Northeast Monsoon will also affect the Cordillera Administrative Region and the rest of Cagayan Valley, which will experience cloudy skies with light rains.
Ilocos Region and the rest of Central Luzon will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains also as a result of the Northeast Monsoon.
Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms due to the Easterlies.
The rest of the country will see partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms from the impact of localized thunderstorms.
