Amihan to bring cloudy skies, rains over Northern Luzon

The northeast monsoon (amihan) will bring cloudy skies with rains over Northern Luzon on Tuesday, PAGASA reported.

As of 3 a.m., the center of Tropical Depression Ada was estimated at 665 kilometers east of Casiguran, Aurora with maximum sustained winds of 55 kilometers per hour near the center, gustiness of up to 70 km/h and moving eastward at 20 km/h.

Cordillera Administrative Region and Cagayan Valley will have cloudy skies with light rains due to the Northeast Monsoon but with no significant impact.

Ilocos Region and Central Luzon will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains also due to the Northeast Monsoon and with no significant impact.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers and thunderstorms due to localized thunderstorms. Flash floods or landslides may occur during severe thunderstorms.

The wind speed foreast for Northern Luzon is strong to gale and moving in the Northeast to North direction with rough to very rough coastal waters.

Central Luzon and the eastern section of Southern Luzon will experience moderate to strong wind speed moving in the Northeast to North direction while coastal waters will be moderate to rough.

The wind speed forecast for eastern section of Visayas is moderate to strong and moving Northwestward with moderate to rough coastal waters.

The rest of the country will experience light to moderate wind speed and moving Northwestward with slight to moderate coastal waters.
