Ada weakens into LPA as it moves east

Ada has degraded into a low pressure area within the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) based on the latest weather advisory from PAGASA.

According to PAGASA’s advisory on Wednesday, Ada was last located at 1,270 kilometers east of Central Luzon and is unlikely to develop back into a tropical depression within the next 24 hours.

It may also dissipate within the next 48 hours.

Meanwhile, another low pressure area was monitored at 2,225 kilometers east of Southeastern Mindanao and outside the PAR.

PAGASA said that it is also unlikely to develop into a tropical depression within the next 24 hours.

Meanwhile, the state weather bureau share that strong to gale-force gusts may still be felt in some areas due to the surge of the Northeast Monsoon.

A gale warning remains up over the seaboards of Northern Luzon and the eastern seaboards of Southern Luzon and Visayas. —Jiselle Anne C. Casucian/RF, GMA Integrated News
