Amihan to bring cloudy skies, light rains over parts of PH

The Northeast Monsoon (amihan) will continue to bring cloudy skies with light rains over parts ofthe country on Friday, PAGASA reported.

Meanwhile, the state weather bureau continues to monitor the Low Pressure Area (formerly Ada) and was estimated as of 3 a.m. at 765 km East of Hinatuan, Surigao del Sur.

Cagayan Valley, Bicol Region, Eastern Visayas, Caraga, Northern Mindanao, Davao Region, Apayao, Ifugao, Kalinga, Mountain Province, Aurora, Quezon, and Oriental Mindoro will have cloudy skies with light rains due to the Northeast Monsoon but this will have no significant impact.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains due to the Northeast Monsoon also with no significant impact.

The wind speed forecast for the eastern sections of Southern Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao is strong to gale moving in the northeast to north direction while coastal waters will be rough to very rough.

Northern Luzon and the eastern section of Central Luzon will experience moderate to strong wind speed moving northeastward with moderate to rough coastal waters.

The rest of the country will experience moderate to strong wind speed moving northeastward while coastal waters will be moderate to rough.
