Amihan, shear line to bring cloudy skies, light rains over parts of PH
The Northeast Monsoon (amihan) and Shear Line will bring cloudy skies with light rains over parts of the country on Tuesday, PAGASA reported.
As of 2 a.m., there are no Low Pressure Areas (LPA) are being monitored for Tropical Cyclone Formation.
Eastern Samar, Southern Leyte, Dinagat Islands, and Surigao del Norte will have cloudy skies with scattered rains and isolated thunderstorms due to the Shear Line. Flash floods or landslides may occur in these areas due to moderate to at times heavy rains.
Metro Manila, Cagayan Valley, Cordillera Administrative Region, Central Luzon, CALABARZON, Bicol Region, Oriental Mindoro, Marinduque, and Romblon will have cloudy skies with light rains due to the Northeast Monsoon but this will have no significant impact.
The rest of Luzon and the rest of Visayas will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains due to the Northeast Monsoon with no significant impact.
The rest of Mindanao will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms due to localized thunderstorms with the possibility that flash floods or landslides will occur during severe thunderstorms.
The eastern section of the country will experience moderate to strong wind speed moving in the Northeast to North direction while coastal waters will be moderate to rough.
The rest of the country will experience moderate to strong wind speed moving in the East to Northeast direction with moderate to rough coastal waters.
