Amihan to bring cloudy skies, light rains over Luzon, Visayas

The Northeast Monsoon (amihan) will bring cloudy skies with light rains over parts of Luzon and the Visayas on Thursday, PAGASA reported.

Cagayan Valley, Aurora, and Quezon will have cloudy skies with light rains due to the Northeast Monsoon but this will have no significant impact.

Mindanao, Eastern Samar, Leyte, and Southern Leyte will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to localized thunderstorms with flash floods or landslides occurring during severe thunderstorms.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains due to the Northeast Monsoon with no significant impact.

The wind speed forecast for Northern Luzon is moderate to strong moving in the Northeast to East direction while coastal waters will be moderate to rough.

Visayas and the rest of Luzon will experience light to moderate wind speed moving in the Northeast to East direction with slight to moderate coastal waters.

In Mindanao, wind speed forecast is light to moderate moving in the Northeast to North direction while coastal waters will be slight to moderate.
